 Big Daddy

            A hero.  Is there an exact meaning?  Is it possible to find a true hero for doesn't everyone have his or her own opinion on what a hero truly is?  That may be so, but in my opinion a hero is someone who is admired in someone's heart.  That is how I come to the conclusion that my father is a hero. 

           In my eyes I see courage.  He has internal strength, in which has become a challenge to comprehend.  His lifestyle is nothing but simple to the untrained sense of sight.  However, it is much more than simple.  A future lies on his shoulders; the same goes out to whoever has chosen to read this.  Grasp the meaning of the words: a future.setting goals and following through with a vision to create a dream, which one-day escalates into a reality.

            Also, he has brought a new aspect to life.  This man has shown me a way to always get what I want; a way to make my own destiny instead of living upon someone else's.  He has shown me the unknown and taught me to learn from it.

            I have now learned that in order to succeed I must cherish and learn from the past, but exceed into the future.  I have been taught this in many ways through many years of experiencing it first hand. 

            My father has gone through life without a plan, but with goals.  He has given an effort and tried love with several approaches.  He has outstretched his boundaries, but stayed within reach.  But most importantly he knows how to have fun and not care what others think.  His actions have told me more than his personality; they have told me the world's secrets, which I may use to my benefit.

If you could see him through my eyes you would see he looks a little something like .a superhero!
